Eileen Camilleri is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Copyright Council.  After practising in intellectual property, Eileen moved in-house to APRA AMCOS.

She has since taught and consulted in, intellectual property at the College of Law where she spent almost 20 years writing, lecturing and working on course design. Eileen was the Assistant Director of Practitioner Education, running the College’s Masters program. A former occasional legal officer at the ACC, Eileen is a professional actor with a Masters in Fine Arts (QUT).

Eleny holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degree (USyd) and a Master of Laws (UCL, London). She has substantial experience in legal practice (both in Australia and in the United Kingdom), including dealing with a variety of matters in the areas of commercial litigation, professional negligence, employment law, and building and construction. Her legal practice experience is combined with extensive experience in legal education and publishing. Eleny's most recent role was as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director, PLT Program at the University of New South Wales.
